Live Poker Rules

Game Type: Texas Hold'em

Objective: Win the pot by having the best five-card hand or by forcing other players to fold.

Game Flow:

• Pre-Flop: Players join and the game begins with 2 private cards dealt to each player and blinds posted ($10 small blind, $20 big blind). Play starts with the player after the big blind (or dealer in heads-up).
• Flop: After all bets are matched, 3 community cards are revealed.
• Turn: A 4th community card is revealed after all players have acted post-flop.
• River: A 5th community card is revealed after all players have acted post-turn.
• Showdown: Players reveal hands, and the best hand wins the pot. The game stops afterward.

Turns: The active player (highlighted in gold) acts. Turns rotate clockwise, skipping folded players. Each player has 60 seconds to act, or they auto-fold.

Actions:

• Raise: Place a bet (minimum $20 or current bet). Raises the current bet.
• Call: Match the current bet to stay in the round.
• Check: Pass if no bet has been made this round.
• Fold: Discard your hand and exit the round.
• Leave Table: Exit the game; resets if you're the last player.

Hand Rankings (High to Low):

• Royal Flush: A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit
• Straight Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit
• Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank
• Full House: Three of a kind plus a pair
• Flush: Five cards of the same suit, not consecutive
• Straight: Five consecutive cards of different suits
• Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank
• Two Pair: Two different pairs
• One Pair: Two cards of the same rank
• High Card: Highest card if no other hand is made
